British Racing Green

...of Jaguars and Astons, of cabbages and kings....

I have recently had a thing for British cars, specifically Jaguars and Aston Martins. As of late, I'm digging the 1996-2006 Jaguar XKR, as pictured below. I would love to have one in a British racing green. (For more info on how color liveries are used in auto racing to designate the nationality of a racing team. click this link - International racing colors )

Jaguars:

1999 Jaguar XKR in "sapphire metallic"- 390 h.p.

Here is my favorite coupe model and the CG depiction in a drive
round Trial Mountain raceway of GT5 ...a cracker!
(This cars top speed down Mulsanne straight was 176 m.p.h.)

CG image of a 2002 Jaguar XKR R performance -in "racing green metallic"
at deep forest raceway in GT5.
(This cars top speed down Mulsanne straight was 172 m.p.h.)

2010 Jaguar XKR in "botanical green metallic" - 510 h.p.
(This cars top speed down Mulsanne straight was 189 m.p.h.)

Lady Mary would dig this car.

Aston Martins:

2000 Aston Martin DB7 in "Grasmere blue" - 420 h.p.
(This cars top speed down Mulsanne straight was 178 m.p.h.)

...a different blue silver

2004 Aston Martin Vanquish V12 also in "Grasmere blue" - 450 h.p.
(This cars top speed down Mulsanne straight was 184 m.p.h.)

2003 Aston Martin DB9 in "racing green metallic" - 450 h.p.
(This cars top speed down Mulsanne straight was 185 m.p.h.)

EDIT:
Here is the Jag I got for myself almost 2.5 years after I wrote this post.
